안타클리 프로젝트(Antakly Projects)는 저명한 에디터이자 큐레이터인 레이라 안타클리(Leila Antakly)가 이끄는 현대 미술 및 크리에이티브 이니셔티브를 의미한다. 2003년에 출범한 독립 플랫폼 니누 니나(Ninu Nina)의 설립자로 잘 알려진 안타클리는 수십 년 동안 전 세계의 음악가, 시각 예술가, 크리에이터들과의 독점적이고 심도 있는 인터뷰를 발행해 왔다.

안타클리 프로젝트는 대중에게 잘 알려지지 않은 크리에이터들을 조명하고 시각, 문학, 공연 예술계의 목소리들과 친밀한 대화를 나누며, 현대 미술에서의 솔직한 스토리텔링과 가공되지 않은 정서적 표현에 깊이 집중하고 있다.

I am pleased to share that my latest interview with the global art platform IdeelArt has just been published.

In this conversation titled “Serious and Not-so-serious: Kyong Lee in 14 Questions,” I share the deeper stories behind my work—from the philosophical foundations of my “Color as Adjective” series to the quiet moments in my studio in Yangpyeong shared with my dog and cats.

(2015~2017)
현재 다양한 형식으로 확장되고 있는 ‘형용사로서의 색채’를 바탕으로 한 작업들의 첫번째 과정으로 2012년부터 현재까지 진행하고 있다. 개인적인 일상과 감정, 사건들이 많은 영향을 미치기 때문에 일년에 많을 때는 70여개, 적게는 2~30여개를 만들고 있다. 나는 올해 현재 29개를 만들었다.

 

Uploaded works on paper/Drawing for Color as an adjective, from 2015 to 2017 on my homepage – a time-based work of how the combination of words and colors expressing my personal emotions was created.

It is the first step of the works based on ‘color as an adjective’ that is currently being extended to various formats, from 2012 to the present. My personal daily life, feelings, and events have a lot of influence, so I made more than 70 Colors in a year and less than 2 to 30 Colors in a year. Now I made 29 Colors as of this year.
